Dispute resolution
Dispute resolution, as the term suggests, simply deals with the negotiation and resolution of disputes, including those which are the subject of actual or anticipated legal proceedings. The dispute may also comprise an informal business dispute, debt collection matter or formal complaint with the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) or the Credit Ombudsman Service Limited (COSL).
Dispute resolution
Litigation involves the initiation (commencement), defence, negotiation and enforcement of court and non-court proceedings. Court proceedings may be commenced in the Magistrates Court, District Court, Supreme Court or Federal Court, whereas non-court proceedings may be commenced at tribunals such as the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT).
Migration law
Migration law encompasses laws, regulations, policies and procedures relating to migrating to Australia (whether permanently or temporarily).
Migration agency
Migration agency services relate to the preparation, application, review and appeal of visa, permanent residency and citizenship-related matters.
